Bulgogi Rice Bowl

  • 1 pack of thinly sliced beef (top sirloin or ribeye, often labeled "Bulgogi" meat at Korean groceries)
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced into matchsticks
  • 1/2 white or yellow onion, sliced half moons
  • 2 stalks scallion, sliced and separated by whites and greens
  • Yori Korean Barbecue marinade
  • sesame seeds
  • cooked rice (optional)
  • kimchi (optional)
  1. Thinly slice carrots, onions and whites of scallions and marinate with beef strips in our Korean Barbecue Marinade for 3 hours - overnight. Make sure meat is completely submerged in the marinade sauce.
  2. Sauté marinated beef & veggies in a pan for 3-5 minutes over medium heat, just until meat is cooked through. 
  3. Top over rice. Finish off with scallion greens and sesame seeds. Add kimchi to your bowl for a spicy, acidic crunch.
